One architect, fixed scope, published boundaries

There is no bench. The person you talk to during scoping is the person who writes the Terraform, and there is no handoff to a junior after the contract is signed. That is a real constraint rather than a selling point: it caps how many engagements run at once, and it is why lead times on this site are not decorative.

Engagements are fixed-scope with a published floor and a written list of exclusions because the alternative is worse for both sides. Open-ended infrastructure work with an hourly rate turns a specialist into staff augmentation, and it gives the client no way to know when the project ends. Naming what is out of scope in public is what makes a fixed price defensible when scope starts moving in week five.

Every engagement starts with Discovery & Scoping for the same reason. Whether an estate needs building or remediating cannot be judged from a call, and a fixed price quoted without looking is either padded or an argument scheduled for later.

No reselling, no margin on your Google Cloud spend, and no partner incentive pointing at one product over another. When a recommendation says HA VPN instead of Interconnect, or pay-as-you-go instead of a sole-tenant licence position, nothing downstream changes based on which you pick.
